Rita and Ian spent 10 days in Ireland in July 2005, and had a fantastic time. The famous Irish Rain Generator was broken the whole time we were there, and every day was beautiful and sunny! We didn't need any of the rain gear, jumpers or thermal undies that we took. Rita took a couple of hundred photos while we there there, and they're collected here to make you jealous! Words here are mostly by Ian, pictures mostly by Rita (apart from the kayaking ones).
Our adventure started in Bristol, where we loaded up the car for the drive to Swansea to catch the ferry to Cork City on the south coast of Ireland. Follow the links below to see what we did on each day.
